Town Gardens, Old Town, Swindon, Wiltshire
Town Gardens were laid out in the late 19th and early 20th centuries on the undulating Okus Field, the site of old Purbeck stone quarries that were formerly owned by the Goddard family. Improvements were made to the gardens in the mid-20th century, including the creation of a rose garden and bandstand with an arena.
