The screen is wooden, and has a wide square door with carved arched patterns in a small space above, matching the two open panels either side. Above the door and lower panels is a frieze of four layers with repeating leaf patterns on the lower layers and a more intricate pattern on the top, including bands of writing, sections that could be beads of berries, and wing-like sections that spread out from a small plaque. Above this is a row of round-headed arches, seven of which can be seen, and three thin bands above. There is a partial view of the roof, suggesting that the roof slopes upwards, creating an open pediment above the screen.
