Series: Eileen Deste: Yorkshire

Description

A series of black & white and colour photography taken by Eileen 'Dusty' Deste in 1967. The images focus on industrial sites in North Yorkshire (predominantly lead and ironstone mining) but also include some tourist sites including Richmond Castle and Rievaulx Abbey. There are a handful of views taken in Alfreton and a small number of portraits.

The series contains 117 negatives, 79 of which have been catalogued and digitized. The remainder appear virtually indistinguishable from negatives that have been digitized, including about 20 portraits of the same man.
