Description

An album of 14 pages containing 51 black and white photographs showing the remains of the former rectory housed in a medieval stone house with screens passage and open hall. The views record the derelict site shortly before and after the demolition of the attached post medieval cottage.

There is also a photograph of a plan prepared by A DU B Hill after 1905 and showing the medieval and post medieval buildings of the site. The remaining photographs date between 1972 and 1974 and are a record of the site between those dates. Five duplicate photographs found in an envelope attached to the album have been disposed of. There are also a small number of duplicates within the album which have been cross referenced.
