Description

Seventh daybook in Bedford Lemere's series including references to negatives BL24621-BL28160. The book was compiled between 1919 and 1926. At the beginning of the book is an unused alphabetical index. After this is a numerical listing of negatives with the following information provided: A unique identifying number for each negative (this number is recorded as the original number in the alternative identifiers field on Amie); the size of the glass plate negative is intermittently provided; subject of the view, generally given in the form of building name and location details; the name of the architect or interior decorator is often given for newly constructed or refurbished buildings; whom the photograph was taken for; the date of the photograph; and the initials of the photographer responsible for a particular job are given. There is also a notes field for any other information.

In some cases entries in the book have been crossed through in red ink, indicating that the negatives have been destroyed.

On the inside front cover is the stationers label - Richard Tilling of 106 Great Dover Street and a hand written number reference for use when re-ordering.
