Ardsley Mill, Morley, West Yorkshire

Ardsley Mill was a steam powered worsted spinning mill built in 1912-13. It was built for Thomas Ambler & Sons by the Yorkshire Hennebique Construction Co Ltd. It is a fine example of a textile mill constructed by the very latest (in 1912) reinforced concrete system, is the best preserved and earliest example of its type to survive in Yorkshire. As can be seen it is now used by Country Baskets, flower suppliers (2013).
