Arno's Court Triumphal Arch, Bath Road, Bristol

A triumphal arch dating from around 1760. It was originally the gateway to Arno's Castle. In 1912 it was moved to the entrance of Arno's Court Bath House. It is built of Bath stone in a classical style with Gothic and Moorish detail. The niches once contained carvings from the demolished city gates. There is a carving of the City's coat of arms above the main arch on the back.
