Crick's Retreat, London Road, Great Glen, Leicestershire
These almshouses were founded in 1870 by Thomas Crick. They were built in memory of his wife Elizabeth and his son John Throne Crick. There are 10 houses in a single block. Free residence was to be provided for relatives of the founder and aged inhabitants of Great Glen. An inscription on them states that they were 'for relatives of Thos.
