Legend Products, Wardle Street, Macclesfield

The Wardle Street Mill was built between 1811-31. With their large open rooms and well-lit workspaces, many 18th-century mills may still be used today as factories. This mill was typically built in the Palladian style with a central block balanced by two symmetrical wings, and a pair of ionic columns flanking the main entrance. It is now demolished.
