Lodge to Foxton House, High Street, Foxton, Cambridgeshire
This former malthouse was built in 1705 by Thomas Wallis. In 1860 the malthouse was converted into a cottage and it has continued to be a dwelling since then. Malting for brewing was an important rural industry.
