Lord Street Arcade, Liverpool, Merseyside
The Arcade at 81-89 Lord Street. The Arcade was designed by the Liverpool born architect Walter Aubrey Thomas and built in 1901. A number of shops can be seen: 'R & J Blacker' a hatter and collar specialist; 'Herbert Wolf' a jeweller and diamond mounter; 'B. Dobell & Co Ltd' coal merchants and 'Gaze's Tours' offering 'Tours & excursions by land & sea to all parts of the world'.
