Magazine Cottage, Docking Road, Sedgeford, Norfolk
This building is a powder (gun powder) magazine or armoury that has been converted into a cottage. It is said to have been built during the Civil War in c1643 by the prominent Royalist Sir Hamon Le Strange of Hunstanton Hall, Lord of the Manor of Sedgeford. He was besieged in Kings Lynn by Parliamentary forces in 1643.
