Oasthouse, Court Lodge, The Street, Brook, Kent

An oasthouse, now a museum, dated 1815. It is circular in design. It is built of red brick with a weather boarded upper floor and a wooden cowl. Oasthouses were used to dry hops that are used in the brewing process. They can be either square or circular in shape. Older ones are generally square.
