Park Road Schools, Port Sunlight, Merseyside

A large group of children, possibly all of its pupils, outside their school. The schools were designed by Douglas and Fordham for Lever Brothers. They were part of the model village of Port Sunlight, built to house the workers employed in their soap factory. The school, which stands at the junction of Bridge Street and Park Road, is now known as the Lyceum social centre.
