Prince of Wales Engine House, Phoenix United Mine, Linkinhorne, Cornwall
The engine house at the Prince of Wales shaft dates from 1910. This is when a new engine was installed to help drain water from the mine. Drainage continued to be a problem and the Phoenix United Mine closed in 1914.
