St Margarets Works, Burley Way, Leicester
Part of the factories of N. Corah Ltd. They were the largest hosiery manufacturing works in Britain. The statue over the main door is of St Margaret. The block to the right dates from the late 1930s. the section in the background to the left was built a few years earlier. Corah's later made knitwear for companies such as Marks and Spencer
