St Thomas' Church, Salisbury, Wiltshire

The Parish Church of New Sarum was probably founded in 1220. It was enlarged in the 1300s. The tower was built in 1400 then rebuilt and extended in the later 1400s. It is a very picturesque and interesting building of stone and partly plastered. The tower has an almost detached position and the belfry contains bells formerly in the Cathedral belfry. Inside is a rare survival of a painting of the Last Judgment which dates from the mid 1400s.
