The south bridge, Eltham Palace, Greenwich, London

Eltham Palace was founded as a medieval royal palace by Edward IV in the 1470s. In the 1930s the remaining buildings were converted into a private house for the Courtaulds. Here, the bridge over the south moat is shown still supported by medieval brickwork. This property is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
