Thomas Cook Almshouses, High Street, Melbourne, Derbyshire

The Almshouses and chapel were built in 1891 by G Burgess for Thomas Cook, the famous travel agent. There is a plaque 'General Baptist Memorial Cottages and Mission Hall. Erected by Thomas Cook, a Native of Melbourne 1890'.
