Warmwell House, Warmwell, Dorset

The east facade of Warmwell House, showing the Dutch gables and large stone chimneys. It is an early 17th century manor house, possibly incorporating the remains of an earlier building. It was probably built by Sir John Trenchard who inherited the property in 1618. The house is still (2011) in private ownership.
