Ordnance Survey Mapping and Data and APGB Aerial Photography
Historic England is licenced through the Public Sector Mapping Agreement (PSGA) for the use of Ordinance Survey mapping and data, and the Aerial Photography for Great Britain (APGB) agreement for the use of aerial imagery and height data to provide context for its own business data and information.
You are granted a non-exclusive, royalty free, revocable licence solely to view the Licensed Data for non-commercial purposes for the period during which Historic England makes it available. You are not permitted to copy, sub-license, distribute, sell or otherwise make available the Licensed Data to third parties in any form. Third party rights to enforce the terms of this licence shall be reserved to OS / APGB – Bluesky International Ltd.

By sending any text, images, audio, video or other content to this website you grant to Historic England a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and use that content (or any part of it, and as that content may be edited, cropped or otherwise modified by Historic England, at Historic England's discretion) on this website, and on or in other Historic England websites and publications, in any media and at any time. Your username and password
The registration processes on this website will involve you being allocated with a unique username and/or password that gives you access to your website account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur through your website account. You agree to (a) notify Historic England immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or website account or any other breach of security by sending an appropriately worded email to [email protected], and (b) ensure that you exit from your website account at the end of each session. Account termination
If you have not verified your Historic England account within 3 months of registration, we reserve the right to delete your account.
If you have not logged into your Historic England account at least once during any 2 year period, we will consider your account inactive.
We reserve the right to delete any account that is inactive and/or has been locked for 2 years. Where you have submitted a contribution for publication on the website, your public profile page will remain visible unless you have ticked the box stating that you do not want it to be shown.
If you wish to delete your account, you can do so by logging into your account and clicking 'I would like to delete my account' on your personal information page.
