An album containing fifty-eight black and white photographic prints, depicting a series of buildings during construction, using steel frames manufactured by Banister, Walton and Co Ltd. The majority of the photographs were taken by Stewart Bale Ltd of Liverpool, and the album was probably created as a promotional tool for Banister, Walton and Co Ltd. The buildings shown in the album include: the Geological Museum, London (now part of the Natural History Museum); the Central Public Library in Manchester; the Northern Aluminium Factory, Banbury; Kelsey Hayes Wheel Company Factory, Dagenham; and J E Beale department store, Bournemouth. The album includes a number of panoramas, created by joining two prints together.
